Measurement Principle

The beer sample (10 ml) is sucked into the measuring cells by means of a pump. Alcoholic content, extract and density are measured by using thermal measuring effects. Derived constituents as original wort, apparent extract and osmotic pressure also will be determined.

LactoFlash Milk Analyzer is an accurate, reliable instrument for rapid analysis of the main constituents of milk. It directly measures fat and SNF (Solids Non Fat) and then calculates density, protein, lactose and freezing point.

The following parameters can be determined quickly and reliably with just one measurement: 

• Stainless steel housing

• Programmable rotor speed from 600 rpm to 1130 rpm in increments of 10 rpm (corresponding to a g value of 77 to 372 g, depending on the rotor)

• Programmable heater up to 68 °C in 1 °C increments

• Programmable centrifugation time from 1 to 99 minutes

• Automatic interlocking safety

This centrifuge consists of the same stainless steel centrifuge as the  centrifuge "Super Vario N". The same HEAD is also used. 

8 Mojonnier tubes can be centrifuged at the same time. The differences to the well-known centrifuge consist in the following point:

• The centrifuge is equipped with a special explosion-proof motor.

The Colony Star features easy-to-clean plastic casing, height adjustable, illumination area of 145 mm Ø with 1 cm2 and 1/9 cm2 graduation. Petri dishes of up to 145 mm Ø can be used. The supplied reducing insert can be used for dishes with smaller diameters.

The freezing curve is displayed during the measurement on the graphical colour display. This is ideal for observing, protocolling and providing proof of the plateau search stipulated by the technical standard (DIN/ISO/IDF 5764).

To determining the solubility of Milk. The device allows the determination of the solubility index of powdery substances or the mixing of liquids.

The device makes it possible to determine the jolting volume or the density of powder and granular products.
